Business Development Analyst (Full-Time) 

Description of Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate with strategic customers on a regular basis to explore new opportunities within them
  •  Support the Strategic Account team with the commercial growth efforts, while coordinating with the Edmonton General Manager to train on local market trends
  • Apply end segment market information to identify alternative raw materials for the company and customers
  • Manage contract inventory and asset management in order ensure optimization and profit
  • Review contract sales orders for appropriate pricing structure and utilization of inventory
  • Ensure the compliance documentation needed to keep strategic accounts up to date in support with an external legal team
  • Pursue & develop new accounts for the sales group while maintaining relations with current customers

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Travel Requirement up to 40%
  • Undergraduate degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience with project management
  • Prior experience in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Strong analytical skills and comfortable with numbers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence platforms
  • Must be willing to spend a month in Houston for training

Inside Sales Rep (Full-Time)

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Approve MTR’s to customer specifications

  • Negotiate best prices and deliveries from vendors

  • Plan staggered shipments

  • Assist management and Quality control with customer and mill Non-conformances (NCR’s)

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels

  • Track and troubleshoot orders

  • Add and review freight and rush charges

  • Correct discrepancies between purchase orders and customers invoices

  • Assist with credit card or COD payments (if applicable)

  • Process and document retuned material as required

  • Preservation of records (Sales, Orders, services, etc.)

  • Communicate with operations daily in regards to material and delivery requirements

  • Comply with all HSE, QMS and Corporate policies at Tube Supply

  • Performs other duties as assigned by a Management/Supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in Sales or assisting Sales

  • Minimum 1 year experience with reading and understanding Mill Test reports and Customer Specifications

  • High level communication skills
